Most importantly, we want our young visitors especially to have fun!
Hours of Operation
OPEN: Tuesday through Saturdays, 10 AM – 5 PM
CLOSED: Sundays and Mondays, and major holidays
Admission
Because of the generosity of our members and supporters, admission to the Albany Museum of Art is free for everyone.
Location & Parking
The Albany Museum of Art is located at 311 Meadowlark Drive, just off Gillionville Road and adjacent to the West Campus of Albany State University.
Visitors may be dropped off at the front entrance by using the horseshoe driveway.
Ample parking is available in the AMA parking lot, located just to the left of the front entrance. The parking lot can accommodate autos, vans, and buses.
Group & School Visits
The Albany Museum of Art offers free tours, including art projects, to school groups and other organizations. These visits should be scheduled a week in advance.
