AMA Schedule Updates
Because of expected hazardous traveling conditions, the Albany Museum of Art will have a delayed opening on Thursday, Jan 23. The opening reception for the new winter exhibitions has been postponed until Thursday, Jan 30.
Normal business hours of 10 am-5 pm are expected to resume Friday.
Here is a look at upcoming dates:
THURSDAY, JAN 23
- The museum will be open 1-5 pm.
- The winter exhibitions opening reception has been rescheduled to Jan 30.
FRIDAY, JAN 24
- Normal operation hours of 10 am-5 pm on Tuesdays through Saturdays resume.
- New exhibitions will be open for viewing Friday.
- The deadline for Georgia artists to apply for a juried solo exhibition this summer at the AMA is 5 pm. Get information HERE.
- ABY Senior Night has been canceled.
SATURDAY, JAN 25
- Family Opening Day, with gallery scavenger hunts, is 10 am-5 pm. Kids can make take-home art project in the AMA Classroom from 10 am-2 pm. This is a free event. Get information HERE.
- This is the final day to see the juried Southwest Georgia Student Art Exhibition. Get information HERE.
MONDAY, JAN 27
- After School Art Club for middle and high school students is 4-5:30 pm. Get information and the registration link HERE.
TUESDAY, JAN 28
- After School Art Club for elementary school students is 3:30-5 pm. Get information and the registration link HERE.
- The Art Lovers Book Club meeting originally scheduled for Jan 21 is at 5:30 pm. This is a free event. Get information and the registration link HERE.
THURSDAY, JAN 30
- The opening reception for the winter exhibitions starts at 5:30 pm. Get information and the registration link HERE.
